It’s that time of the year that we all start to reflect on the past 12 months. I’ve had the most amazing year and photographed some really awesome people along the way. I’ve logged 6,200 photography miles and taken well over 100,000 photos, which seems completely bonkers.
Here’s a selection of my favourite portrait and wedding shots from my most successful photographic year to date. In one way or another they all make me smile and remind me of all the fun I’ve had on my photography adventures. Apologies in advance for the amount of images but it was so hard to narrow it down.
I feel massively grateful that I have a job that I enjoy so much and takes me all over the South West taking cool photos of people in love, cheeky children having fun and sometimes your furry pet friends.
I’ve witnessed 26 happy couples get married and been a photographer at over 20 different wedding venues all over the South West. Including Leigh Court, Orchardleigh Estate, Ferhill Farm, Clevedon Hall, Gants Mill, Maunsel House, Combe Lodge, Hyde Barn, Priston Mill, Charlton House and Estington Park to name a few.
My family portrait sessions have taken to local parks, woods, lakes, really cool urban locations and clients homes all over Bristol, Bath and Somerset. I’ve used famous land marks as backgrounds including Bristol’s very own Suspension Bridge and Wells Cathedral. More recently I’ve started using a rustic loft space for indoor shots with the same look and feel to my outdoor work which is perfect for the winter months.
I’d like to thank all my wonderful clients past, present and future that make this all possible. I now can’t wait to get stuck into 2017 and see what the new year has to hold.
