Lockdown – Bristol doorstep portraits
Bristol doorstep portraits
Coronavirus has affected us all in many different ways. One of the biggest impacts on my life was the sudden lockdown restrictions preventing me from photographing my usual weddings and family portrait sessions. At first, this was a massive shock to me, like it was to many of us. However, I wanted to keep my spirits high and was thinking of ways that I could still do some photography.Read More
2019 wedding photography highlights – Bristol, Bath & Somerset
BOOM, what a year of wedding photography!
It’s that time of the year again where I look back over last year and boy hasn’t it flown by? I must be getting old. It seems like yesterday that I was putting together my 2018 highlights but at the same time I’ve been to so many places and taken more photos than ever.Read More
Kingscote Barn wedding photography – Vicky + Russell
Kingscote Barn wedding photography
This was my second time that I’d shot a wedding at the scenic Gloucestershire-based wedding venue Kingscote Barn. It has a winning combination of far-reaching views, stunning grounds full of awesome spots for photos and a lovely restored 17th Century Cotswold stone barn, which is perfect for adding your own stamp. We were blessed with the most glorious autumnal weather with the sun out pretty much all day. I love the light at this time of year as the sun is lower in the sky which is perfect for back and side lighting.Read More
Priston Mill wedding photography, Bath – Becka + Dean
Priston Mill wedding photography
I love it when I get a forecast of wall to wall sun for a wedding day, especially when it’s a venue like the beautiful Priston Mill. I photographed many weddings here in the past so know the venue like the back of my hand. I can see why so many couples choose this awesome venue to tie the knot. It’s quiet rural location, beautiful barn, top class service and rolling hill views is certainly a winning combination.Read More

Lockleaze Sports Centre wedding photography
I always love to photograph new and unusual venues. Lockleaze sports centre doesn’t scream wedding venue but it worked for Claire and Tommo. It’s a blank canvas with plenty of scope to add your own stamp. It also has a huge terrace perfect for long hot summer days.Read More

END OF YEAR REVIEW
It’s that time of the year again where I look back over last year and boy hasn’t it flown by? It seems like yesterday that I was putting together my 2017 highlights. Not to blow my own trumpet too much but I’m proud of my 2018 collection of images. I’m always trying to find ways to improve my wedding photography, and I’ll continue this into 2019 to keep things fresh and exciting. There’s nothing I love more than capturing fleeting emotional and fun moments which are gone in a blink of an eye.Read More
The Battleaxes wedding photography, Bristol – Jude & George
The Battleaxes wedding photography
If you’re looking for an amazing alternative wedding venue in Bristol, check out The Battleaxes. Cool, rustic, friendly and different. All things that Jude and George were looking for in a venue to celebrate their big day. Sadly the sun didn’t have his hat on but they didn’t let that phase them and didn’t put a dampener on their day (pardon the expression!)Read More
