Stonehouse Court wedding photography

This was my first time shooting at stunning Stonehouse Court in Gloucestershire. The venue is set six acres of stunning grounds overlooking the Stroud Water Canal and rolling hills of the Stroud Valley. Tash & Coner opted for the great outdoors for their ceremony in the Pagoda, located in the private gardens of the Caroline Suite.

I met up with Tash , the girls and co in the morning at her parents home just down the road from the venue. I was met with a warm welcome and a house full of a super chilled bridal party, excited about the special day ahead. Tash is as mad about dogs as I’m about cats, so it went without saying that the furry members of the family needed to get in on the photo action. How could I resist photographing a pair furry fiends with the cutest bow ties imaginable.

There’s nothing more I like than an outdoor wedding ceremony, so I was delighted as weather was dry all day. A nervous bride was instantly made to feel relaxed when she saw her handsome groom looking very dapper at the end of the isle.

After their ceremony the happy couple were met by a crowd of excited guests armed with fist fulls of confetti. Once Tash and Connor had a good chat with all their guests we took a stroll around the grounds of the venue for a round of relaxed couple photos. We made the most of their Morris minor, cool wall textures and the venues beautiful grounds before taking some fun shots sat in some deck chairs.

The evening shenanigans was packed full of dad dancing and singing along to some classic tunes. It was a massive privilege to be part of this epic wedding with a group of wonderful family and friends. Thanks again for choosing me as your wedding photographer.
