For a Drovers Rest Farm wedding photographer, this kind of day is a dream to capture. The combination of the beautiful countryside, the character of the farm and, most importantly, the incredible atmosphere created by Nika and Chris and their guests, meant there were so many genuine moments to photograph throughout the day.

From the colourful confetti and a pedicab entrance to golden-hour couple photos and a packed dance floor, it turned out to be a brilliant wedding from start to finish.

There’s something pretty special about a winter wedding. Cosy interiors, crisp winter air, dramatic skies and beautiful soft light can create a wonderfully romantic atmosphere that’s hard to replicate at any other time of year.
Putting together my end-of-year blog is always a challenge… mainly because I have way too many fun, relaxed, and creative shots I’m proud of! This year alone, I delivered around 30,000 images to 30 amazing couples, so narrowing it down to just 305 sometimes felt impossible. What you’re about to see is just a tiny slice of what was an absolutely epic 2025 wedding season. Every image brings a smile to my face and instantly takes me back to the moment I pressed the shutter.
