After chatting with Pippa and Ben online, I could tell straight away that they had something truly special planned for their big day, and I was so excited to capture it all as their rural village hall wedding photographer.

Pippa and Ben have a long history together, having known each other since school and both growing up in the countryside near the beautiful church they chose for their ceremony. St. Mary’s in Hawkesbury is a stunning, well-maintained church nestled in the heart of the English countryside, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for their heartfelt “I dos.”

The church was packed with 150 of their nearest and dearest, all dressed to impress and buzzing with excitement. The ceremony itself was emotional, joyful, and full of lovely moments, from happy tears to bursts of laughter making it an absolute pleasure to photograph. As the newlyweds stepped outside, they were showered with handfuls of pure white biodegradable confetti, walking through what felt like a never-ending line of cheering guests.

From there, we made our way to Horton and Little Sodbury Village Hall for the rest of the day’s celebrations. A super-cool marquee had been stylishly decorated and set the tone for a relaxed, fun-filled afternoon. It turned out to be one of those super-hot summer days of 2025, but the heat didn’t stop the party one bit. Guests danced, laughed, and soaked up the sunshine, with an upbeat band providing the perfect soundtrack well into the evening.
