My approach

I’ll mostly stay in the background, letting you get on with enjoying yourselves while I quietly capture lots of genuine, natural and fun moments as they happen.
➤ Relaxed, natural photos, without awkwardness
I’ll create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourselves and look your absolute best, without fake smiles or forced poses.
➤ Keeping it light, while taking it seriously
We’ll have a laugh and keep things light-hearted, but I never lose sight of just how important these photographs are to you and the people you love.
➤ Calm when you need me, in the background when you don’t
I’m there to reassure, help and keep things moving when needed, but otherwise I’ll happily blend into the background and let you get on with enjoying your day.

When we head off for your couple portraits, we won’t be gone for ages. I’ll keep things relaxed and efficient, get you some beautiful photographs, and have you back with your guests in no time.

Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings in all sorts of places, from grand country houses and rustic barns to city-centre celebrations, quirky little venues, outdoor festival-style parties and everything in between.
I’ve also been lucky enough to photograph weddings from lots of different cultures and religious traditions, each with their own brilliant traditions, quirks and ways of celebrating.

WHAT’S THE COST?
Short Day
I’ll start taking photos roughly 30 minutes before your ceremony and will be with you up until the beginning of your wedding breakfast. This option is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings.
This will also include lots of natural candid photos of you and your loved ones having fun, a round of group photos and relaxed couple portraits.

Part Day
For this option you can choose to have me from the lively bride and groom preparations in the morning, until your wedding breakfast, or from your ceremony until an hour after your first dance.
This is a great choice if you’re not looking to have a photographer with you all day, but want me to capture the parts most important to you.

Full Day
My most popular option means I’ll be yours all day. From the excitement of getting ready through to your first dance and beyond, capturing a collection of vibrant, fun and authentic images.
I normally start 3 hours ahead of your ceremony and finish 1 hour after your first dance, making sure you have a complete story of your day.

PRE-WEDDING SESSION
Fancy a little practice run in front of the camera?
As a special thank you, every couple who books me to photograph their wedding gets a complimentary warm-up photoshoot. It’s a chance for us to hang out, get to know each other, and have some fun in front of the camera, so when your wedding day comes around, I won’t feel like a complete stranger!
Spending a little time in front of the camera beforehand can make a huge difference. It helps you relax, shake off those camera nerves and get comfortable in front of the lens, so on the big day, you’ll feel more natural, confident and, ultimately, look even better in your photos. And, of course, you’ll get a collection of beautiful photos of the two of you to keep and enjoy.
