I was very much looking forward to photographing Alexis and Sam’s wedding at the beautiful Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel. The couple opted for my part-day package, so I arrived shortly before the ceremony and stayed through to just after their first dance during the evening celebrations.
The venue, located right in the heart of Bristol beside the cathedral on College Green, is a fantastic setting. While outdoor space at the hotel is limited, its central location more than makes up for it. With the historic Harbourside and other iconic Bristol spots just a stone’s throw away, we had plenty of stunning options for couple portraits. Even the front of the hotel, with its grand architecture, made a great backdrop.
Alexis and Sam have two lively kids who brought so much joy and energy to the day, from cheeky smiles during the ceremony to busting moves on the dance floor later in the evening!
As with all my wedding packages, Alexis and Sam had a complimentary pre-wedding shoot, which included their children as well. This gave everyone a chance to meet me and get comfortable in front of the camera. It definitely helped everyone feel relaxed and at ease on the big day, making for some truly natural and joyful moments throughout.
“We’d like to say thanks for all the advice during the build up to the wedding which was great to have your insight it such a big help.”
