Action packed wedding in Gloucestershire

It was great to be an Eastington Park wedding photographer for Megan and Matt’s stunning spring wedding in March 2025. Set in the Gloucestershire countryside, this beautiful manor house wedding venue is a fantastic place to celebrate, with gorgeous grounds, elegant architecture and light, airy interiors.

Megan and Matt had definitely gone all out for their wedding day, and it was action-packed from start to finish. From the emotional moments and hilarious wedding antics to smoke flares, sparklers, a magician, incredible styling and even a casino, there was never a dull moment.

A Spring Wedding at Eastington Park

Love was very much in the air throughout the day. It was obvious just how much Megan and Matt’s wedding meant to them and how much thought and effort they had put into bringing everything together. There were plenty of happy tears, huge smiles and big, warm hugs between the couple and their nearest and dearest.

The newlyweds were in top form from beginning to end, completely immersed in the celebrations and surrounded by a brilliant group of friends and family.

As a Eastington Park wedding photographer, these are the kinds of moments I love capturing, the genuine stuff that happens naturally when people are surrounded by those they love.

Confetti, Smoke Flares and Couple Photos

We were incredibly lucky with the weather. The glorious late-winter sunshine meant we could spend plenty of time outside making the most of the beautiful Eastington Park grounds. We had perfect conditions for the confetti tunnel, group photographs and relaxed couple portraits.

On the right day, the light at this time of year can be absolutely incredible. The low spring sunshine gave everything a beautiful warmth and created some gorgeous opportunities for natural wedding photographs around the grounds. And, of course, there were a few smoke flares thrown into the mix too!

I always want couple portraits to feel relaxed and easy rather than turning your wedding day into a photoshoot. We took a little time away from the celebrations, wandered around the grounds and captured some photographs before getting straight back to the party.

A Wedding Packed With Fun

Megan and Matt had filled their day with loads of brilliant entertainment and personal touches. There was a magician keeping guests entertained, seriously cool venue styling, sparklers as the evening arrived and a fun casino to keep everyone busy.

The wedding guests were an absolute pleasure to photograph too. Everyone was up for having a good time, which made my job incredibly easy. There was a brilliant balance between the emotional moments, the big celebrations and the completely unexpected bits of fun that make a wedding memorable.

Megan and Matt’s Eastington Park wedding was a fantastic celebration from beginning to end, full of love, laughter, colour and plenty of things going on. I hope you enjoy looking through this wedding as much as I enjoyed photographing it.

We are so pleased we chose Simon to capture our wedding day. We are over the moon with the final wedding collection and even more thrilled with the quick turn around of less than 3 weeks to receive this.

Although we aren’t use to being in front of the camera, he put us at ease and captured us perfectly, giving us direction.

His attention to detail and ability to capture all guest on the day were top notch. Great communication skills from the minute we booked Simon and the run up to the big day. He was amazing!!!
