It was my second time being a Folly Farm Centre wedding photographer in 2025, and I’d been looking forward to Molly and Mike’s super fun, colourful celebration from the moment we met. During their pre-wedding shoot, as they talked me through their plans, I knew their day was going to be relaxed, joy-filled, and bursting with personality.

Their alfresco ceremony took place in the venue’s beautiful courtyard, overlooking the rolling Somerset countryside. The styling was every bit as epic as the view, with multicoloured ribbons, vibrant florals, and an atmosphere full of warmth. One of their close friends officiated, adding an incredibly meaningful and personal touch.

The entire day was a dream to photograph. There were endless moments packed with emotion and colour, from playful smoke flare fun, laid-back couple portraits making the most of the countryside goodness, and speeches that had everyone laughing.

To round off Molly and Mike’s wonderful wedding, they treated their guests to a ceilidh, which always guarantees to get every generation on the dance floor, strutting, spinning, and laughing together. And just as the last bit of sun dipped behind the hills, we slipped out for one final round of couple photos to end their perfect day in style.
