Leyfold farm wedding photographer

I was excited to be the photographer at Flo and Dan’s super-chill wedding at Leyfold Farm in Gloucestershire. A bell tent was home for the couple and their wonderful guests for the day.

Mirror ball-obsessed Flo had to include her favourite party accessory as part of their wedding decor. A few small ones were dotted around the venue, while a full size one hung above the dance floor. During the evening’s proceedings the bride changed dresses into an awesome sparkly mirror ball inspired party dress.

The day was packed full of fun and lots of emotion. During the ceremony, there was a singalong to Billy Withers’ classic ‘A Lovely Day’, which brought a smile to everyone’s faces (including mine). The set of speeches was heartfelt and hilarious in equal measures, giving me plenty of photo opportunities.

The limbo pole was a fantastic addition (definitely recommended for any wedding!) and the dance floor was full as the band played dance floor fillers during the evening. It was the type of wedding I would have loved to have been a guest!

He charges per part of the day you would like him to photograph, which I didn’t find to be that common and really allowed us to tailor his service to our wedding day.

He also provided us an engagement shoot at no extra cost, which we hadn’t thought about before but allowed us to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.

Simon was always accessible over email, travelled to the venue for the engagement shoot, and was amazing on the day.
