Woodlands Church Bristol wedding photographer

It was my second time being a Woodlands Church Bristol wedding photographer, and just like the first, the bride, groom, and all their guests were so warm and welcoming.

The day began in Brislington, where I joined the lovely Hannah and a house full of excited bridesmaids and flower girls. The air was buzzing with laughter, anticipation, and plenty of hairspray. The perfect mix for capturing relaxed, joyful moments. One of my favourite parts of the morning was the emotional first looks from both Hannah’s bridesmaids and her father.

From there, I headed to the church also know as Woodies to meet Stu and photograph guests as they arrived for the ceremony. The church was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with colourful, personal touches, exactly the kind of detail I love. Ceremonies at Woodies are always uplifting, filled with heartfelt moments and incredible live music.

Afterwards, we went to Redland Green for couple portraits, using the grand Redland Church as a stunning backdrop. We even stopped by Redland Green train station for a few fun and unconventional shots, which turned out to be a great spot for something a little different!

The drinks reception took place at The Elmgrove Centre, a fantastic blank-canvas venue perfect for creative, DIY weddings. The speeches were both emotional and hilarious, with wonderful words from the father of the bride, groom, best man, and Hannah’s sister.

The night wrapped up with a packed dance floor and an epic live band playing all the wedding classics — the perfect way to end such a fun, love-filled day.
