I always love to photograph new and unusual venues. Lockleaze sports centre doesn’t scream wedding venue but it worked for Claire and Tommo. It’s a blank canvas with plenty of scope to add your own stamp. It also has a huge terrace perfect for long hot summer days.
It was great to be back at one of my favourite Bristol wedding venues, Old Down Manor. The picture-perfect country house located just outside of Bristol has a stunning sweeping staircase, picturesque gardens and photographic backdrops which any photographer would love.
I finished 2018 with a bang, photographing Lottie and Jamie’s super chilled and fun wedding at the beautiful Hornblotton Church followed by the rustic Batts Farm near Bruton in Somerset.
It’s that time of the year again where I look back over last year and boy hasn’t it flown by? It seems like yesterday that I was putting together my 2017 highlights.
When I first met Sophie and Loz I knew from the start that their wedding was going to be epic. I was really looking forward to the day as I’d never taken photos at Old Oak Farm before and only heard good things about it. I absolutely adore the laid back festival vibe to the venue and I was in my element all day long.
I had the joy of working with Iams pet food on two large advertising photoshoots. Firstly I had to photograph imagery for their brand new pack designs and second up was a lifestyle photos for their website. I was very excited as Iams has been the largest business I’ve worked with to date.
I met Frances and Danny back in February to discuss photographing their wedding just 2 months later in April. I think it’s the quickest turn around from booking to actually shooting I’ve ever had for a wedding. Normally couples book me a year to 18 months in advance, so it was nice to see them again so soon.
